A Squared Team Completes it’s IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification
At A Squared Technologies, continuous improvement is part of our DNA. We’re proud to share that our team has successfully completed the IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified IPC Specialist course, combining in-depth theory with hands-on practical training in cable and wire harness assembly.
This achievement marks the third IPC certification completed by our team, building on our existing IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/21 qualifications and strengthening our technical portfolio across electronics manufacturing and assembly.
What IPC/WHMA-A-620 Means – In Simple Terms
IPC/WHMA-A-620 is the internationally recognised standard for cable and wire harness assemblies (also known as looms).
In basic terms, it sets out exactly what “good” looks like when building looms – from stripping wires and crimping terminals to soldering, routing, and final inspection.
By training to the IPC/WHMA-A-620 standard, our engineers and technicians now follow a globally recognised framework for building and inspecting cable and wire harness assemblies. This helps us deliver consistent, high-quality looms for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications, with improved reliability, repeatability, and cost-effective manufacturing.
