At A Squared Technologies, our story is one of passion, innovation, and continuous growth. What started in 1981 as a small home-based operation has flourished into a thriving business known for excellence in the electronics industry.

In the beginning

Our founder, Alan Bach, began this journey at home, working tirelessly to build a reputation for quality and reliability. As demand grew we expanded by moving into our first industrial premises at Weston Business Park in 2008. Just a year later we took over a second unit, welcoming our first full-time employees while continuing to outsource with a talented team of homeworkers.

In 2012 we embraced a new chapter by rebranding as A Squared Technologies from A Squared Electronics, a name that better reflected our evolving capabilities and diverse client base. By 2014 we officially became a Limited Liability Company, bringing together a dedicated team of skilled professionals and experienced associates.

Introducing Kate

Kate joined her Father in 2014 supporting him with the admin and accounts. With Alan’s health taking a turn for the worst a few years later, Kate began to learn the business from the ground up. She immersed herself in the world of electronics and how the Company operated from every angle whilst soaking up knowledge from her Father who stoically continued to work.

2016 marked another milestone as we moved into our current facility at Unit 6, Bridgwater Court, Oldmixon Trading Estate. This relocation allowed us to enhance our operations and better serve our clients. Alan was a part of the move although unwell and got to see his daughter take the business in to a new era.

Alan continued to work from home whenever his health allowed him but sadly in 2017, the Company lost its founder.

Our commitment to quality and customer relationships remained steadfast and in 2021, we proudly welcomed a new generation of leadership with Alan’s youngest daughter, Victoria, taking on a key role in the business.

Now with Kate as Managing Director we continue to honor our family-run roots while embracing modern advancements that drive us.

Expansion

To stay at the forefront of our industry we have continually invested in state-of-the-art equipment. Our facility is equipped with three UK-built and supported Surface Mount Machines, a Vapor Phase Reflow system and an array of manufacturing tools, including Reflow Ovens, a Wave Solder Machine, a Mantis Elite Microscope, a Wire Cutting Machines and a Crimping Machine. These advancements ensure that we can deliver the highest quality products while keeping up with the ever-evolving demands of electronic manufacturing.
